Sir Henry Cole was credited in coming up with the idea of sending greetings cards at Christmas, introducing the world’s first Christmas Card in 1843.
The term, ‘graphic design’ first came about in 1922, by a man called William Addison Dwiggins who was a typeface designer, illustrator and book designer.
