At What Point Do You Need To Talk To A Graphic Designer?

Are you struggling for time? Do you feel as though every time you try to sit down and concentrate on your business, even just for a couple of hours, you’re being interrupted? And because of this, do you feel like you’re not getting anywhere with your business? Are you wanting to grow and expand your business, but just feel like there isn’t enough time in the day for this to happen?

What if I told you there was a solution, which would mean your branding is taken care of… Would you be interested? I work very closely with a handful of clients where I handle all their branding, so they don’t have to worry about it. I know their businesses inside and out, which enables me to work on their branding to get them the results they want for their business. For example, I launched some Valentine’s offers for a client of mine near the end of January. I spoke to them two days later and was told they’d had bookings already. Amazing! It just goes to show the power of design when it is done right.

Graphic designers are trained to think and design a certain way. When it comes to graphics to use on social media platforms, they all need to be a certain size in order to work. This is just the same as print design – if you’re looking to get some price lists, menus, leaflets etc. designed and printed the design needs to appeal to your audience. It needs to grab their attention and it needs to make them want to read it. As a specialist in print design, over the years I’ve found what works and doesn’t. You have to use the space available to get the right message across and in an appealing way. Designing for print has to be done with purpose. If you needed some leaflets for your business, the first question I would ask is what are you using them for and how are you giving them out? If you said they were going to be used in a leaflet drop – they have to be designed differently to leaflets that are going to sit in your office for your clients to pick up themselves, such as an information leaflet.

So what can I do for you? Well, just think of me as your outsourced in-house graphic designer. I will sit with you, get to know every aspect of your business to ensure I fully understand all the services being offered, just like I’m one of your employees. Then, with regular review meetings in place, your branding across all platforms will be assessed and ideas generated, actions planned and new ways of ensuring your business is being heard and seen will be implemented. This way you’ll know your business is in safe hands and being looked after with dedicated time assigned each month to concentrate on growing your business for you.

If you think this sounds like something you’d be interested in discussing with me, and would like to see some examples of work I carry out for some of my current clients, then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you: office@hollie-ellis.co.uk
