How to share your core message as a personal brand

How to share your core message as a personal brand

How to share your core message as a personal brand, and what even is it to begin with?

There’s a real difference between being a business brand and a personal brand. A personal brand is based around you. You are the business owner and people are buying into you and your skills. Typically, you would be a service based provider…

In the last year I’ve researched and monitored personal brands just out of fascination in terms of how they market and position themselves. I’ve looked at how they’ve branded themselves, and the one thing I’ve found throughout all the research is they have ONE, just one core message that they share, and they share it in a really consistent way.

If you were to have one core message to share with your audience, would that message be?

I would love for you to have a think about that.

If you only had one message to share from your brand, from your business, what would it be? How can you share it consistently?

Can you elaborate on it more? So can you come up with sub-topics relating to your core message? This is what really successful and influential personal brands do. They have one core message. They share it in a really consistent way and they share so much value around that core message, because they want to help and empower others by sharing their message. They are on a mission to share their message, and get it out to the world.

By sharing it consistently, they are becoming well known for their message. This will help create more recognition, and it helps them become more visible too, because their message is important to them.

So what do I mean by sharing on a consistent basis?
This means showing up day in, day out in a really consistent manner. Using all the marketing tools, and apps that are available to you, and showing up on a regular basis.

I have also seen over the last year or so, a lot of well known business influencers have said to concentrate on one social media platform that works really well for your business, and master the art of using that one platform only. If it means that sharing your core message is showing up on one social media platform day in, day out, but consistently showing up every single day, sharing that message, and getting it out to as many people as possible, then that is an absolutely amazing way to share your core message consistently.

Today I’d like you to really think about your messaging and how you can share it on a more consistent basis, even on a daily basis if need be.

It could be that your core message might not even be related to your business. It could be that it’s more related to you and who you are. As a personal brand, you are your brand. Your personal brand solely encapsulates you. You are your brand and everything you stand for. It could be that your brand shares a message that isn’t directly related to hat you do, but it could be something related to it. Alternatively you could use your business as a vehicle to help you share your message in other ways. This could be charity work, raising awareness of something that you feel really passionate and strongly about.

Let me know what your core message is below and how you plan to share it even more.
